A new facilities and administrative cost rate agreement will take effect at the start of FY 10 (July 1, 2009). The following rates will apply: Research 57%, Instruction 57%, Other 30% and Off-Campus 26%. The date of the new agreement is Sept. 15, 2008. See link below for full announcement.

Below are the newly extended Facilities and Administrative Rates for FY2010-FY2012.
The rates, effective July 1, 2009, are summarized below:

These new rates will be applied to all new and competing renewals with a start date on or after July 1, 2009.
Departments preparing sponsored proposals should be aware that the University negotiates fringe benefit rates annually and F&A rates every three years with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). It is DHHS practice to reissue its rate agreement with the University, containing both Facilities and Administrative (F&A) and fringe benefit rates, each time either rate has been modified. Therefore, the date of the University's latest rate agreement with DHHS is September 15, 2008. This complete agreement will be on the GCC website soon.
